Product Sticky SMS

Every lead hears from one number. Forever.

The first number that texts a lead is pinned to them. Every automated step, and every reply you send from the inbox, goes out from that same number. The lead sees one conversation, and knows exactly who is writing.

Day 5, automatedHi Sam, it's Jo at Brightpath, following up on your quote request. Did my email land okay?
Day 8, automatedTotally fine if now's not the time. Worth a quick call this week?

Numbers that shuffle

Step one from one number, step two from another. To the person reading, it looks like three strangers.

Replies on the wrong line

The lead answers one number and your follow-up arrives from a different one. The thread falls apart.

Rotation that breaks trust

Spreading volume across a pool of numbers is smart. Doing it blindly, per message, costs you the conversation.

  1. Pinned on the first text

When a lead gets their first text, Duckrow picks the least-used number in your pool and pins it to that lead.

    • Volume spreads evenly across your numbers.
    • The pin is made once and kept for the whole sequence.
    • Works across every number in your workspace.

New leads go to the least-used number. Once pinned, a lead never moves.

  2. Every step, the same number

Follow-up texts in the sequence go out from the pinned number, automatically. Nobody picks a sender step by step.

    • Set up the sequence once.
    • Mix text steps with email and LinkedIn.
    • The whole row stops when the lead replies.

    • AI drafts the answer from the conversation.
    • The thread shows both sides.

FAQs

Sticky SMS is the Duckrow feature that pins each lead to the first number that texts them. Every later text in the sequence, and every reply you send from the inbox, goes out from that same number, so the lead sees one conversation with one sender. Duckrow picks the least-used number in your pool for that first text, which spreads volume evenly.

People who have agreed to hear from you: inbound leads, people who asked for a quote or a call, and existing customers. US carrier rules require that consent for business texting, and Duckrow's registered numbers follow them.

The lead keeps its pinned number for as long as that number is on the campaign. If you take a number off, the leads pinned to it move to the least-used number that's left.

A platform feature maps a phone number to a sender inside one messaging service. Duckrow pins the number to the lead, and uses it across every step of the sequence and every reply from the inbox.

No. Duckrow is the texting provider: we supply the numbers, register them and run them inside your workspace, in the US and Canada. If you already text through another provider, connecting that account is coming soon.

Texting is an add-on on paid plans, for US and Canadian numbers. Each number is $10 a month ($12 for a Canadian toll-free number), billed from the day it goes live. Texts use 2 credits per segment to US numbers and 3 to Canadian numbers, replies are free, and US carrier registration fees are passed on at cost.
