Narration: preview voiceAn agency scores clinics on a Light model and writes openers on its own OpenAI key. The clinics are example data.

The short answer

Open the Model menu in a Use AI column: 13 models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Meta, each with a typical cost a row. Light models cost about 2 credits a row and work on every plan; Standard and Premium need a paid plan on Duckrow's AI. Each row is charged what it really uses. With your own key, the AI itself costs no credits.

Step by step

  1. 1Open the menuIn a Use AI column, click Model. Models are grouped by lab, with about how many credits a row on the right.

  1. Open the Model menu in a Use AI column.
  2. Find the cheapest model that suits your job.
  3. Run 10 rows on it and compare the answers with a stronger model's 10.

You're done when you know which model you'll use for this column, and roughly what it costs.

0:45How a row is charged

The number is a typical row. Credits are held first, and each row is charged what it really used. It's at least one credit a row. Reading a LinkedIn profile or a website adds a credit each. And on your own key, the AI itself costs nothing.

1:04Add your own key

At the bottom of the menu, under your API keys, choose add your OpenAI key. Paste it and save. Duckrow checks it and stores it encrypted, and the menu shows your key. Owners and admins add keys for the whole workspace.

1:21Recap
