Narration: preview voiceA private equity team narrows a screen to strong fits with no red flags. The companies are example data.

The short answer

In a Duckrow table, Filter narrows rows with conditions joined by AND or OR, including run-status filters such as Has an error on AI, API and Push columns. Sort orders rows from the panel or a header's right-click menu. Search jumps between matches. Save the setup as a view from the Default view menu, and your team can open it too.

Step by step

  1. 1Add filtersClick Filter, then + Add filter. Pick a column, an operator (Equal to, Contains, Greater or equal to, Is empty and more) and a value. Further filters join with AND or OR.
  2. 2Filter by run statusFor Use AI, HTTP API and Push to campaign columns, operators include Has an error, Has results, Has no results, Has not run, Is queued and Is running.
  3. 3SortClick Sort, + Add sort, pick a column and A → Z or Z → A; add THEN for a second sort. Or right-click a column header for Sort A → Z or Z → A.
  4. 4SearchClick Search, type, press Enter. The counter (1/5) and arrows move between matches; Esc closes.
  5. 5Save a viewOpen Default view, Save as new view, and name it. A view keeps its filters, sort and hidden columns, and your team sees it. Changes save to the view you have open.

Try it in Duckrow

About five minutes, in your own workspace.

  1. Add one filter on a Number or Select column.
  2. Add a second filter and switch AND to OR to see the difference.
  3. Sort by one column, Z → A.
  4. Save it as a view with a clear name, then switch back to Default view.

You're done when you can jump between the full table and your saved slice in one click.

Check what stuck

Three quick questions. Nothing is saved.

  1. 1. You want rows that are strong fits AND have no red flags. How do the filters join?

  2. 2. Some Use AI cells failed. How do you list them?

  3. 3. Who can open a view you saved?

0:00From 2,000 rows to the ones that matter

Two thousand companies, scored. You only want the strong fits with no red flags, best first. Here's how to find them.

0:11Filter

Click Filter, then add a filter. Thesis fit, greater or equal to seven. Add another, and red flags equal to none. Change AND to OR when either should match. For AI, API and push columns you can also filter by run status, like has an error.

0:30Sort

Now sort by thesis fit, Z to A, so the best fits come first. You can also right-click any header to sort.

0:40Search

Looking for one name? Search for Ohio, and the counter shows one of two. The arrows jump between matches.

0:49Save it as a view

Open Default view and click save as new view. Name it, and the filters, sort and hidden columns are kept together. Your team can open the same view.

1:00Recap

To recap. Filter with AND or OR, by value or by run status. Sort from the panel, or a header. Save it as a view your team can open. Next, clean a messy list fast.
