The short answer
Duckrow keeps lists in tables, inside workbooks, inside folders. Agencies usually make one folder per client and one workbook per project; each workbook holds tables as tabs. Duplicate a table to reuse its columns without the rows. Deleting a folder or workbook removes its tables and pauses any campaign tied to them.
Step by step
1Make a folder per clientWorkbooks in the rail, + New, name it, Create. A folder holds the workbooks for one client or project.
2Make a workbook per projectOpen the folder, + New, name the workbook, Create. It starts with Table 1. Each workbook can have one campaign.
3Add tables as tabs+ Add in the bar under the table makes an Untitled Table. Double-click a tab to rename it.
4Duplicate to reuse a setupOpen a tab's menu and choose Duplicate. The copy, named <name> (Copy), has the same columns and no rows.
5Rename or deleteFolder and workbook rows have a ··· menu with Rename and Delete. Deleting removes everything inside and pauses campaigns tied to it. A workbook's last table can't be deleted.
Try it in Duckrow
About five minutes, in your own workspace.
Create a folder named after one client.
Inside it, create a workbook for one project.
Duplicate a table you like and rename the copy.
Check the copy has the columns and no rows.
You're done when one client has a home, and a ready-made table to fill.
There are three levels. A folder for each client. Inside it, a workbook for each project or campaign. And inside each workbook, tables, one per tab. A campaign is tied to one workbook.
Every folder and workbook has a menu to rename or delete it. On a table's tab, the menu adds duplicate, which copies the columns without the rows, so a new list starts with the same setup.
Deleting is bigger than it looks. A deleted folder or workbook takes its tables with it, and any campaign tied to them is paused. You can't delete a workbook's last table, so add another first.
To recap. A folder per client, a workbook per project, and tables as tabs. Duplicate a table to reuse its columns, without rows. Deleting removes the tables and pauses linked campaigns. Next, pick the right column for every field.
